Burke Gravestone Unveiling – 4/12/17





After 100 years, John M. Burke's legacy was finally written in stone on April 12, 2017, the centennial of his death.

Special guests included Jeremy Johnston of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, WY; Michelle Delaney of the Smithsonian Institution; Steve Friesen of the Buffalo Bill Museum & Grave in Golden, CO; and five descendants of John M. Burke.
